English Bulldog Breed
The english bulldog breed has many puppies and is not commonly found in a rescue.
These dogs have originated in the 16th century in England for bull baiting. Their whole body is designed for gripping the bull and bringing it down. The best grip is possible only with a curved undershot jaw with rearward teeth. These dogs have a low gravity center, which makes them impossible to topple over. Their body is very compact and muscular; the limbs are short. The shoulders of these dogs are very wide; the chest is deep, with well-sprung rounded ribs. These dogs can be prone to obesity. Their diet should be well balanced and should contain all necessary vitamins and minerals.
